Testimony of Grace: Thanksgiving Report for the 30th Anniversary
感謝神，福音戒賭中心於本年慶祝 30週年之際，蒙倫敦中華基督教會支持，動員弟兄姊妹協助及提供場地，於8月17日於鄰近倫敦唐人街的蘇豪佈道中心 ( Soho Outreach Centre ) 舉辦《戒賭見證分享佈道會》宣揚福音，拯救靈魂。

- 關懷與接待： 陪談員 20人、接待 5人、司事 5人、交談 2人
- 台前與聚會： 領詩 6人、見証嘉賓 2人、大會主席 1人、小提琴 1人

Thanks be to God! As the CCGR celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, we were blessed with the full support of the Chinese Church in London. Brothers and sisters were mobilized to assist and provide the venue at the Soho Outreach Centre, located near London’s Chinatown. The rally was successfully held on 17 August to proclaim the Gospel and save souls!
The total attendance reached 126 people that day. We are deeply grateful for the dedication of every staff member and participant. Below is the detailed breakdown of the day:

We would like to express our most sincere gratitude to all the serving staff and participants. Your every part in this event is a powerful driving force that propels us forward!
Our Prayers and Aspirations:
- Finding Freedom: We pray that all those bound by gambling will come to know God the Heavenly Father, be released from bondage, and regain their freedom.
- Transformed Lives: We hope they will receive an abundant life in the Lord Jesus, being saved by grace through faith to start anew. May their broken life pieces be put back together by the Lord into a beautiful, radiant, and vibrant stained-glass window.
- Raising the Next Generation: Let us rise together to do a great job in prevention work, raising a new generation that is free from the harms of gambling!

卅周年 步行籌款 感恩有您
30th Anniversary Walkathon: Thank You for Your Support
感謝神，本中心舉辦之「30週年步行籌款」已於2026年5月25日（星期一）圓滿結束。當日倫敦天氣炎熱達攝氏34度，一眾義工、步行者由循道會君王十字堂出發，沿著美麗的倫敦運河步行，抵達終點麗晶公園（Regent’s Park）。感謝天父充足的供應，來自倫敦、米頓堅、伯明翰眾教會，超過 180位主內弟兄姊妹歡聚同行，鼎力支持。籌得金額超過原定目標兩倍，達30,000英鎊。這筆珍貴的捐獻將全數用於本中心落實各項福音戒賭服務，陪伴更多受到賭博危害的家庭走出陰霾，重獲新生。
在此，我們致以最誠摯的謝意。感謝參加者和贊助者的無私奉獻與經濟支持，您們的每一分捐款都是推動我們繼續前行的強大動力。當中有步行者把一頁又一頁的贊助表格填得滿滿，點滴累積帶來成果豐碩，此舉除了籌款，更能引起更多人，關注和幫助受賭博危害的人。三十年來，福音戒賭中心見證了無數生命，在聖靈裏重生帶來的蛻變。未來的日子，我們期待繼續與您攜手，將這份愛與希望延續下去。

Thanks to God, our centre’s “30th Anniversary Walkathon” successfully concluded on Monday 25th May 2026. Despite the sweltering 34-degree Celsius heat in London that day, walkers started from King’s Cross Methodist Church, strolled along the beautiful canals, and successfully reached the finish line at Regent’s Park. Thanks to the Heavenly Father’s provision and the generous support from all sides, this charitable event was a great success, with over 180 people attending and raising more than double the original target, reaching £30,000. These precious donations will be used entirely to implement our gambling rehabilitation services, helping more families harmed by gambling to emerge from the shadows and find a new life.
We extend our sincerest gratitude. Thank you for your selfless dedication and financial support; every donation is a powerful driving force for us to continue. For thirty years, The Christian Centre For Gambling Rehabilitation has witnessed countless lives transformed by rebirth in the Holy Spirit. In the days to come, we look forward to continuing our partnership with you, spreading this love and hope.

神恩三十載 護航新世代
Divine Grace for Thirty Years: Protecting a New Generation
在不斷擴展服務的過去五年，我們一直面對財政不敷。神是聽禱告的，祂看顧我們的需要，感動主內弟兄姊妹忠心地默默奉獻，也透過眾華人基督教會的愛心聯繫和宣教基金支持著我們。踏入2026年，神恩手繼續拖帶，擴張我們的境界。中心獲NHS England承諾撥款資助，開展首年的「賭博危害戒賭輔導服務」(Gambling Harms Treatment Service) 神也揀選和呼召祂的工人，中心從原來2.4人，4月起增加到5位職員(當中兩名是半職同工) 。誰知撥款是要延後一季才發出。故五月份步行籌款的空前成功，是父神引領和供應的記號，讓我們親見神的看顧從不缺少。
「多給誰，向誰多取」，我們明確福音戒賭中心的宗旨(Purpose)是「興起對賭博具免疫力的新一代」，秉持純潔(Purity)，“用和平彼此聯絡，竭力保守聖靈所賜合而為一的心。” （以弗所書 4:3）神的供應(Provision) 必速速臨到。 “萬軍之耶和華說：“銀子是我的，金子也是我的。”（哈該書 2:8） 願上帝繼續保護(Protection)我們，使我們持守福音大使命。 “我不以福音為恥；這福音本是神的大能，要救一切相信的。” （羅馬書 1:16）願一切的榮耀歸於上主！
For the past five years, as we have continuously expanded our services, we have faced financial difficulties. God answers prayers, He cares for our needs, and He moved the faithful dedication and support from our brothers and sisters in Christ. He also supported us through the social care and mission funds of various Chinese Christian churches. God’s gracious hand continues to guide and expand our reach. Entering 2026, the centre received a promised government grant to launch its first year of “Gambling Harms Treatment Service.” God also personally called and sent people to join us, increasing the staff from 2.4 people to five staff members (two of whom are part-time) starting in April. However, the grant
payment was delayed by one quarter, and our Walkathon in May, which tripled our target, is a testament to the signs of His gracious hand providing!
When we clearly define the purpose of CCGR as “raising up a new generation free from harms of Gambling,” we uphold purity, “making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit, in the bond of peace among one another” (Ephesians 4:3). God’s provision will come swiftly. “The silver is mine and the gold is mine,” declares the Lord Almighty (Haggai 2:8). May God continue to protect us and enable us to uphold the core values of CCGR. “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). May all glory be to God.
